I was recently in Roatan and met a young 23 year old lady from El Salvador who will soon be needing a job as a maid, nanny, or both, soon. Her name is Dinorah and she is working for a young single Mom with two children who is renting my place in Roatan. So I stayed with them in my place for two weeks, recently. I had the chance to observe her closely while there. I found her to be a very hard worker, great cook, great with children, a clean housekeeper, and trustworthy. I'm sure the lady who has her now can tell you so much more. The lady who hired her will soon be leaving Roatan, so Dinorah would like to find a job doing similar work before this lady leaves the island. She would be great as a maid or nanny, or both, which is what she is working as now. She is living with the lady who has hired her, so her salary is quite low. She would be a great help to anyone who is interested. She only speaks Spanish, but is willing to learn English, if given the opportunity. She is a refreshing young woman to have around and I enjoyed her company a lot, even though my Spanish is lacking. Anyone interested in finding out more or meeting her, or talking to the woman for whom she is now working, please contact me. Or if you have any suggestions on work for her, contact me as well. We would all love for her to be able to stay in Roatan instead of heading back to El Salvador. Mucho gracious!
