| Subject: | [roatan] Mystic Harbour and Wyndham projects dead? |
Just got back from the island and had a great two weeks! When on the island I spoke with several people who said both projects are dead.....at least for the moment. One person told me they have taken down the sign for Mystic Harbour. I only mention this to the group because one of the people I spoke with said a relative put money in to the Wyndham project and lost it. I was under the impression that the funds were protected by 1st American Title? I guess not. I know the Mystic Harbour project had a 'pre-construction deal going as well. Curious if anyone put any $$ in to that project and if they got it back? Just an FYI to any that were interested in the projects. To be fair I did not speak with anyone from the real estate agencies that are promoting these projects. I am not accusing anyone of anything just relaying what I heard. There are many good projects on the island, but just as many bad ones. If anyone has more/different information on these projects please post them to the group.
