Tipping is allowed and as said about 10-15% which is normal, although I found a place on West End that charged an additional charge for the "cook". I didn't understand it all since I thought the cost of the food would have covered wages. In any case, I never went back as it was the only place where I ran into that type of charge. By the way, it was over and above the tax for the government and tip for the waitress. It was kind of unexpected and several of my friends on the island had never seen anything like that, anywhere.
