When I read the post this evening I could contain the tears. Although it has been a very long time ago, but the vivid memory of my being attacked in honduras as a child came back to me as if it was yesterday. Reason why i left Honduras nad headed to the seas at the young age of 15. Yes, I was 15 years old when I became a sailor. I was able to help my mother raise my brothers and sisters and get a very good education. I work on the ships until I was 23 years old, I disembarked as an officer from Carnical Cruise lines and staid in St Thomas Virgin Islands. Never returned to Honduras to live. I was determined to never have a child of mine ever endoured any of the attrocities that are still being commited on children in that country. In My 8 years of sailing... I trveled the entire world and sailed on 16 different ships. I never missed the abused I went through while growing up. Its almost as we have animals being born there instead of men. God has blessed me in many ways and that is the reason why now as a poet, author, artist and music composer I have no problem giving back to help out. Right now, I am hopping to get a project off the ground here in Connecticut to help get these youngsters to give up their guns and become poets and artists. I have years volunteering my talent and God continues to bless me... Hope one of the projects am currently working toward might help to gather some funds for your organization. We were told at the local police station that they have taken someone into custody. The police dept also said that he was molested as well. The first lady of Honduras was notified of his death. We need to do something. I myself shall go to the jail and look at this creep and try to make sure the courts stay on top of it. This young boys family is very poor and during a time like this they may not be able to follow the rules of locking his butt up forever. Yes I know innocent until.......
