Most of the time we do not have issues with Pica Pica on Roatan. But just like Belize there is a 'season' for them. Not sure when they are at their worst. I'm sure someone else can shed some light? I would have a bottle of sea safe or vinegar with you just in case. We have had many trips to Ambergris Caye, Belize, where Pica Pica is a problem at this time of year. Do these sea lice also appear in the water off Roatan and should we be prepared with Sea Safe?
