    Hi Charlie,

Yes, it seems that many Honduran airports have been affected by this
smoke. Tegucigalpa Airport has been too quiet this week because of the
smoke, but quite a few flights came in and left today.

The story out of Canada has a lot of truth but Freddy Cuevas is a bit out
of date. He writes that there is no lighting for after dark flights into TGU!!

The airport is becoming better equipped and safer now. Flights come and go
now in the evening. Last flight in is Taca from Costa Rica and San Pedro
Sula about 8:30pm, and last flight out is Taca to Guatemala City around 9
    every night.

Let's hope this smoke clears up. Yes, it's really good for guests to
always notify the hotel/bed & breakfast of their flight numbers. In this
way we can trace guests if there is going to be a flight delay.
