Here is part of what I say about it on the radio.

Roatan´s newest annual event, The International Shrimp Festival will be held at Parrot Tree Plantation on Sunday, June 19th from 10 am until... The largest event to take place on Roatan is expected to attract as many as 5000 people to the secluded blue lagoon area. There will be 6 live bands, Garifuna dancers and a Queen of the Festival for girls ages 6 to 12 will be selected. Experience the arts and crafts as well as lots of shrimp prepared by several of the top restaurants on the island. Tickets are 100 L in advance and can be purchased at Eldon’s and H.B. warrens plus other places. 200 L at the door.

Tell me more about this event! I am excited thinking about it. We
arrive on the island on the 18th and now are looking forward to this
on the 19th! Where is it located? On the beach or more inland? Safe?
Any info would be most appreciated! Entry fee??
