Dear group, My dear island friend that lives in Milton Bight has a medical need. His wife that he loves has potentially a blood clot or tumor in her head and is in need of an MRI. She was admitted to the Roatan hospital and later transferred to La Ceiba for further medical care. This situation is beyond the capabilities of the hospital in La Ceiba and they transferred her to San Pedro Sula where the proper equipment is available. These test are expensive and are not affordable to this poor family. I have assisted financially as much as I could. Is any one aware of a state sponsored MRI lab available in Honduras, or perhaps a government department that might be able to direct us to one? Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
