We had a group of 12 friends who stayed at Luna beach last year (May 2004) and loved it! The resort and the people who own it and work there were fantastic! We loved it so much we have already booked to go back there in April 2006.
Its also a short walk into town so gives you easy access to restaurants and nightlife. Plus you can hop a cheap water taxi over to West Bay. The pool is real nice, they have a big dive shop that rents gear for diving and snorkeling, a restaurant and bar onsite and it looks like they have added a gift shop and opened the upstairs bar and gameroom since we were there last year.
We had rented houses which were awesome, plus some friends had gotten the beach suites. The resort is isolated enough to be quiet and private, but close enough to the nightlife when you want it! We raved about our trip so much we have more friends going with us next year. Only part of our group is divers, the rest of us just like to chill out and party at night, so the resort and location covers all interests.
