Spare us your commentary on human nature. As a diver, I want to know the details, to learn from the circumstances or possibly any mistakes made. It is a dangerous sport that contains very many unknowns. Do you think that the deceased might want us all in the dive community to learn anything from their misfortune? From what I've heard of Tulio's character and great legacy, I'm guessing he would. Diving contains a great deal of inexact science and these details MIGHT be helpful to others to be safe, to perhaps minimize the damage done in the future. What better reason is there for wanting details. We aren't NASCAR fans watching replays of wipeouts here.
I grieve for the family and friends involved in this. May they take comfort in the community at large that is bonding together to help support the families of which I've heard a few, even here in the Bay Area of California where funds have started collection.
