Hi all, Thank you for listening to the Roatan Bruce Show on Magic 107.7 FM, now with an additional hour of some of the world’s best music. The show is now three hours long from Monday to Friday. It now starts at 11 AM and ends at 2 PM. I would like to tell you about two very interesting guests on this weeks show. On Thursday at 1 PM, I will have on the new Police Commissario, Jorge Carias. Jorge has now been the head of police for three months and he is facing the hardest times ever for a chief of police on Roatan. He will be discussing some very difficult issues with us on Thursday. On Friday, I will have on Olid Flores from Punta Gorda. I met Olid at the last Canaturh meeting on Monday. He stood up and got the audiences attention by asking them why the foreign community building homes on the island weren’t hiring Black Garifuna’s. He said that if a Garifuna ever did anything wrong, everyone knew exactly where to find them. They have no place to go other than where they live. He will be on the show on Friday at 1 pm to talk more about his ideas. ** With the help of some of you on this message board, I may soon be able to offer the show live-streamed over the Internet. Stay tuned for updates on that. If you live on the island, watch for the video version of the shows on Televialma Cable 35 and the following night on Island Cable 97.
