    Subject: [roatan] Greetings

    I was wondering if someone here could answer a few questions for me
    about living in Roatan...

    I was wondering what kind of employment options I could find Roatan;
    I have two skill sets to draw upon, diving and Computers. I have
    been a dive master for a local shop for the last 3 years and a
    Server Engineer (Windows based Intel servers) for the last 10
    years...

    What is the real cost of living? Assuming a basic house or apartment
    what kind of money would I need to make to cover my normal monthly
    expenses?

    How difficult is it to get a working Visa?

    My wife and I both feel its time for a change and we need to slow
    things down a bit. Is life in Roatan truly as relaxed and enjoyable
    as it seems? We have been there for several diving trips and felt,
    of all the island we have been on, Roatan was without a doubt the
    best.

    Thanks
    JohnL
