I also cant find decent air anymore...nothing less than $800 or so from the midwest ...which is really a sad price to pay to visit the caribbean...it is not that far of a ride...I had hoped continental would drive prices better but nothing seems to have worked... Cozumel .....still sitting at the same price that we have been paying for the past 5 years $550 or so...round trip.... We just have to cross our fingers.... we certainly will travel more to Roatan when air is more reasonable.. i feel awful for you all that live there and own property and have no choice but to pay the price and cooperate with airlines....surely it will get better! or perhaps not..;-( If air keeps rising...resorts may have to reconsider there prices...there will have to be a trade off somewhere so that people still keep going... Most of our groups...are over 35 people...and air increases so far have not stopped people from going...but they are not going as often... our 3 timers a year are now 2 timers...and our 2 timers are only going on one trip now a year..;-( Pam Pamelia O.
