Good evening...
In order to give subgroups at the Conference on Honduras 2005 a chance to meet in private, compare notes, and do some strategizing, there will be anywhere between 2-4 "breakout sessions" on the program scheduled for Thursday, October 20.
These sessions can be as organized or unorganized as the participants would like. If no one from the specific subgroups comes forward and offers to develop an agenda and a planning team for their session, then I will assume that the participants simply wish to hold a casual meeting. That's fine.
At the moment, we have two breakout sessions planned. One is for the Rotarians who will be attending the conference, and the second is for the representatives of Medical Brigades. Given the number of Episcopalians who will be in attendance, they may wish to have their own breakout session. Perhaps Hondurans would like to have their own session. Please let me know, and I'll be glad to work with you on this.
I would like to give everybody who would like it a chance to meet in a more quiet, private atmosphere with others with whom they have much in common.
The conference room at the Hotel Marina Copan will be reserved for these sessions.
We now have 123 confirmed attendees for the confeence (http://www.projecthonduras.com/conference).
With regard to Kathy Tschiegg's full-day (Oct 21) Workshop on Sustainable Programs, we now have 15 people confirmed to attend. We can accept no more than 30.
Thanks, Marco
