CARTA AL PRESIDENTE INVITATION To all business people and those interested in the Tourism Industry in Honduras: Dear Friends: Right now, the tourist sector occupies the third place as the generator of foreign currency in our country; demonstrating that the economic future of our nation, will depend on the development of this industry. Only the clear and conclusive participation of the central government and its compromise to maintain Tourism as a National Priority, and the union of who among us form this sector, we can establish Honduras, as a preferred touristic destination and a great generator of Benefits for all. Fundación Mundo Maya compromised with the before mentioned purpose, and after denoted efforts, will offer the dissertation "The Future of the Tourism Industry on the Next Government" with the participation of the presidential candidates Mr. Porfirio Lobo Sosa, from the National Party and Mr. Manuel Zelaya Rosales from the Liberal Party. These dissertations will take place in the Auditorium of the College of Engineers in San Pedro Sula, on the following dates: Thursday, August 11, 2005 at 11:00AM, Mr. Porfirio Lobo Sosa. Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 11:00AM, Mr. Manuel Zelaya Rosales. We are convinced that the participation of each one of us in these events, will bring great fortification to our sector; as well as a clearer and large perspective of the commitments of the next government with the future of the tourist industry of Honduras.
