I and many others were excited when Continental joined forces to fly in... but some how...the prices never got any better for us...I fly there from the midwest as well...Kansas City...Price is always $800 to $1000 and yes that is hard for a family to pull off which is why we did not return this year... We brought down 58 people last year ;-) and have been there several other times...But Sol Air and Taca were being very competitive back then ...and with Sol Air not operating now...No airline is working the price... We can fly from one side of the U.S. to the other for $250 to $300 round trip longer flights but not to Roatan.... Perhaps it is the taxes that drive it up...or perhaps there demand is so good they can charge that much or the demand is not enough that they have to charge more...I just cant figure airlines out.. Some one out there pull some strings... We continue to monitor the prices and as soon as they go down...we are back ;-) Pam

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming...
Damn, What a ride!!
