Roatan Air has been in operation for two years, we have a Cesna 172. The folks with the seaplane and I work together to bring you more options in getting around the islands. The 172 was not flying the last month, we were doing preventative maintenance, but we're putting everything back together and we'll start again very shortly. I'll post when we are back in the air.

    Regards

The people with the open cockpit 2 seater plane, also have a Cessna 180 which holds 3 pax and baggage........ I travelled with 2 other people from Utila to Roatan on a particularly windy, rainy day.... It was an excellent trip and it was around $55 US each... something like that...

is by seaplane. They can pick you up on the beach and drop you off on the
beach at the other islands. I'm not sure of the cost to Guanaja, but it is
$180.00 to Utila - and the
plane can carry two passengers. It is a neat little twin engine, open
cockpit plane on floats, and a lot of fun. Two drawbacks - not much room
for luggage - and they can't fly in real windy conditions. They are based
at Palmetto Bay Plantation, and you can reach them by phone at 504 946-5665
