My idea is to contact him re: the need for a government/airline registered full-time vet on the island so the airlines will again allow animals into and out of Roatan without the need to fly puddle jumpers to Cieba then San Pedro--which works for small pets. Having to leave my pets here for 3 months recently to get medical care stateside was awful. The island "should" be nearing the point where maybe it CAN support a full-time vet--esp. if this person takes over import/export duties as needed at the airport. Just an idea.
