    Hi David,

    Thanks for writing back.

I should have clarified...between the two services, but when purchased from
the US. We have not tried the local version of either, but have an account
with Direct TV that we established in the US.

We have lost some channels, and (since we will be traveling soon to the US)
are considering discontinuing our account with Direct TV, and starting up
    with Dish Network.

So, we're wondering if Dish Network offers more channels, and is better
overall, or if it is best to leave well enough alone.

    Angela,

    It's been a joke!
We applied personally in La Ceiba to the Claro company that owns the
    Directv LatinAmerica.....I've given up!
I only wish they had a CS manager that read the groups,
    wait! ....that can read!
We gave them references, business permits, you name it....there's
    always something else!

The last excuse was that there was new management in SPS so our old
    app wouldn't work anymore.
I finally got Freddy Dixon over to install cable instead.
    Great guy!

    David.
