    Hi Carmen,

I am speaking for myself here when I say, one person's paradise is another person's hell. When I moved here full time I was 6 months pregnant and without AC and in power outages. I wasn't thrilled, so I changed my living situation. We rented a house with windows and AC, but trust me, we pay for it. Our average RECO bill is about $500/mo! Yes, there are bugs. Both of our dogs struggle with the fleas, and we have had flea and tick infestations in our house. But a bug bomb takes care of that. Scorpions come into the house, as well as tarantulas, and you deal with it. You just have to decide if you are willing to trade 6 lane highways and the hustle and bustle of life in the states for a more relaxing life here without AC and the critters. If that is truly what you want to do, you decide to do it, even if it means you take 10 showers a day. Or you rent a place with AC and pay RECO a lot of money per month.

P.S. Bring or buy a generator!
