What they accomplished on 50 lb test line i= s remarkable. It is a shame the fish could not have been saved but in all t= ournaments whether in Miami, Baja, California or Hawaii, fish are=A0killed = due to the tremendous stress put on the fish during the fight. Another thou= ght, was the weight of this fish certified and his line capacity confirmed?= If so he could submit this as a world record for 50 lb line. This would no= t only bring attention to Garry ( who is a close friend of mine) but also t= o the great fishing available in Roatan.
