These things are a matter of opinion. However, trade winds DO come from
    the
south--bad storms from the north. Two major resorts and all major
    townships
    are on the south shore.

Here, at our house on the south shore, the reef sits ON the shore--and IS
the shore. Diving and snorkeling are both wonderful!

What are some of the differences between the north and south sides of the
island. Is one side better for snorkling and diving? Does one have better
breezes? Can the reef be reached from the shore on both sides? JD
