Music Festival for the Angels

One of Roatan’s most beloved annual events is the Music Festival for the Angels. Hosted at the meadow at Lawson Rock in Sandy Bay, the 2016 Music Festival for the Angels is ready for one of the best line-ups yet.

Scheduled for Saturday, March 12th, the Music Festival for the Angels is now in its third year of successful fundraising to benefit Clinica Esperanza and the SOL International Foundation. Both organizations offer much-needed services to Roatan’s residents.

The concert is held outdoors beginning at 3pm, with tons of fun activities and great music to keep the whole family entertained. Extending well past sunset, this all-day music festival highlights Roatan’s best musical talent, plus the occasional visiting talent, too. The 2016 headliner for the festival is Jack de Keyzer, a 2-time Juno Award winner from Canada playing the blues.

In addition to fantastic entertainment, several local restaurants set-up on site to sell food to the masses, offering everything from BBQ pork to tacos to pizza. At the 2016 Music Festival for the Angels, look for fabulous food for sale by Adam Barefoot, Bananarama, The Beach Grill, Bite on the Beach, Caribe Tesoro, Nicha’s Burger, Salty Mango, and C-Level.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for kids (kids under 6 go free). This is a fun event for the whole family, and the benefits couldn’t go to better causes!

Clinica Esperanza has been providing medical services to Roatan’s residents for years, offering low-cost or no-cost care to ensure everyone in Roatan is able to seek medical treatment.

The SOL International Foundation supports Roatan’s youth, offering after-school programs, athletics, and community education. Both organizations do wonderful work on the island to the benefit of everyone.
